HyperfolicOS @inc

This is a operating system i made in about 2 hours but is truly amazing. It is simple and efficient. It has a nice booting screen and main menu. This is made by only me AnDwHaT5 who created @inc. At @inc we create programs for the public to use and always improve on our projects. If you want to join @inc then pm me for we have plenty of spots open and will have a website very shortly. The address will be @inc.weebly.com or atinc.weebly.com. i will post when up. Anyways in the next update i plan on adding programs that can be launched from the main menu which will be hard (for me) and i know most of computercraft's lua. Also in the next update i will add a log in system. That way you can lock your computer. This is how you instal it.

Download instructions:

first go in game and put a floppy disk in a drive and start the computer.

then take it out and look at the number next to id

go to in your console world, computers and at the bottom you will see disks

go into that and find the folder correlating to the number in game

open it and un-zip the files into there

after go back into game and put the floppy in the drive

start up the computer and hit y

at that point the floppy will come out (if your drive is on the bottom) and it will be installed.

currently i only have the rednet explorer made by computercraftfan installation disk.

This seems, bad. It appears to be something from early CC days where anything with a GUI was cool. We understand Lua too well now for this to pass.

And why no pastebin? Why you no like pastebin?

I hear ya. I use tekkit and was built as a tekkit computercraft OS. Their for it is compatible with all. I will be updateing it and will also be adding newer version operating systems too.

Also why use paist bin here is better because it is compressed and it is easyer to download from a direct source.

its not compressed and its easier just to run "pastebin get 123456 file" instead of having to copy and paste into rom or world

I agree!
Or else you'll have to open your saves folder then the computer folder and paste it into there!

On the contrary a better update is comming out and i will see if i can upload it vai paste bin. Its still not a up to date computercraft OS but it has time id of computer and rednet on and off capabilitys with in the home menu. Iwill focas on getting it on a better version too. i will update both one will be tekkit version and the other will be up to date with cc. tekkit one is comming out shortly.

lol im uploading v.1.3 now it has mouse_click capabilitys and looks better with a few more features

I would like to join @inc. In server i play on i have created a programming company called matrix inc. So maybe Matrix Inc could be a division of @inc

Sorry for the off-topic but what was wrong with ihomeOS ? I remember I saw it on the forum something like 3 months later but that was a OS like everyother, no ?

The guy who wrote it didn't make it do much so it was already pretty bad. Easily one of the worst on these forums. What was ridiculous was the way he talked about as if it were the best thing ever invented, and the license. He put on this enormous license saying no one can do anything with iHomeOS without his permission. Not even installing new programs. It was absurd. And of course people bashed on it. But it went really far and got tons of comments every day saying how bad it was and arguing over it.

Hey the new HyperfolicOS 1.5 is coming out today but i ran in to a issue.. A loop i made wont end even with break makeing the objective to get to shell very hard so there may be a delay.

Let's try to be constructive, regardless of your opinions on his OS. Why is it bad? What needs improvement? How might the author go about improving it? This sort of thing will quickly degenerate into pointless name-calling and an admin will have to lock the thread.

HyperfolicOS will be know as FireballOS. It will be a regular OS only and not tekkit. The tekkit one will be updated but not often. The new FireballOS you can find in general right now because it is now in development and will be way way way better then any of the HyperfolicOS's i have made. It will be so awesome it will have its own new name!!!!
