If you can edit you need to have a way for deleteing it

I consider this to be useful to because a dozen closed threads with people asking for something that has already been answered numerous times is not useful and only makes searching harder.

Why? You can't un-say things in real life.
You also can't report things in real life. What's your point? I would think you would like this idea; it should make your job a bit easier if you aren't spammed with " Please delete my post" in your reports. I can see this being a good idea.

Guys, isn't this the IP board software being weird? Not sure the admins can do anything about it.
