I like networking programs. Unfortunately, I haven't seen any finished ones, but I've seen a few with potential.

I believe he means like that very old "Huge baking system" thread.

I just like to see cool shit. If it impresses me then I am happy.

Gaaaaaames!
I like seeing games that are easily customized.
New Graphics!
New Maps!
Build games from the ground up!
Also, any game that uses sound. Tekkit's bundled cables could easily be used to make an advanced setup that some special APIs could be made for.

you've talked about "tekkit's bundled cables" alot….just so you know they are part of the RedPower Mod by Eloraam and they were not made by the tekkit ppl….i don't think they made anything in tekkit…..

Many people give the makers of tekkit credit for all the mods. What they dont know is it is a modpack, they didnt make any of the mods, just the pack in which they are illegally (technically) in. I just tend to ignore those people :)/>

the people who write "malicious" code dont seem to get the concept of malicious

while true loops of printing "you got hacked" arent malicious at all

you can make some malicious stuff but since each computer's programs varies so much from others the best "malicious' program you can make something that deletes all the programs… maybe replaces them with versions of themselves…the only way it could spread is over floppies…

Same with me. Code in TextMate, test in single player, and use paste in to bring over to smp. Always keep a backup.

ok. read through all the ones that are "harmful"

one of them was essentially just a way to disable a computer until someone force-terminates the computer

the rest just delete all files

nothing particularly "malicious"

Check this Malicious program -SNIPPY SNIP-
The only way to stop it is to shutdown the computer and put a floppy disk with a startup file and then boot the computer >:-o

Annoying programs are decidedly unexciting. They're not useful, they're not interesting, they're not worth acknowledging.

Games are totally the best thing I see on the forum, and I like to keep my eye on OS's. I quite like some of the better utility programs too, like smartpaste and the taco file editor, to help with development. Have yet to see a really good project manager, hopefully one appears at some stage.

Term buffering, I presume. Or term overriding. Lightshot is awesome!
