well im going to say that considering the image was released a few hours ago, and dan only pushed out the commit around the same time, that it will still be a little aways.

3 days since the image.

Could have sworn I typed resurfaced there but still 3 days… just wait a little long, again from 1.481pre to 1.5pre, 2 months… and no matter how much you bug them about it they wont speed up, actually bugging them will probably make them go slower, I know I would.3 days since the image.

It will come out when it comes out; developers don't like people asking for an ETA.

Indeed. Don't tap on the glass…the programmers are skittish and easily frightened.

Dan said "hopefully next week" seeing as the said it yesterday he may mean this week
now note "hopefully" means it may not be out this week

Well thats very broad. when 'yesterday' did he say it? was 'yesterday' Monday for him? because then that would imply not this week, but in fact 'next week' as he stated. Or maybe 'yesterday' was a Sunday, and he like many others considers Sunday as the start of a week.Dan said "hopefully next week" seeing as the said it yesterday he may mean this week

He said it in the deadworkersparty stream afaik :3
What he said exactly: "I'm trying to get a release out, maybe next week"
my time is UTC+1, brittish people should be in UTC
The deadworkers podcast starts at 3pm Central Time according to their website
putting that into Wolfram Alpha that should be 9 pm UTC, the time he said it in the podcast was around 30:18 so there should be plenty of time before midnight
thus "next week" should refer to this week
