Where to begin game programing

Do any of you know where to start game programing or what games are good for a noob programer. Links to tutorials would be greatly appreciated

If you mean for CC, then you should probably attend some of nitrofingers' classes in game design at CCU. Or just watch some videos on the channel.

If you mean in general, a good place to start if you've never touched game development at all is with is Scratch. It's rather limited, but pretty fun to play around with, and it teaches basic programming logic very well.

Game Maker isn't entirely free, but it's a good starting point nonetheless. It's like a more advanced version of Scratch.

When you're ready, you can move up to stuff like LӦVE, which uses lua, and is a very barebones framework instead of a full blown studio, like Scratch or Game Maker. Frameworks like these are usually harder to use, but they offer more flexibility and use less resources, making a more generally appealing result if done right.

well i would like to make games for CC but in not very good with game programming
