Shapeways Real Turtles Review

My real turtles just arrived after a delay at the manufacturing facility that does the full colour sandstone items.

First impression: they're awesome. The colour of the pick axe is a bit off, they look more like green sapphire than diamond, and they are hollow and have no base so they don't have the levitation pads / thrust ducts or whatever they are, but I love them.

At first I thought this was spam. :P/>
I'm still thinking about buying one.

Now that I've opened the package properly and had a look at all the turtles I bought, I found that one of them does have a base. All the others are open at the base. Odd.
