Welcome back to the wasteland fellow computercrafters, today I announce the release of "FalloutLock". Anyone familiar with Fallout: New Vegas or Fallout 3 already know everything they need to about this program. For those who don't however, I'll briefly explain. When you run the program you'll see a screen appear with random characters all over and some words (pre-defined by you!) mixed in, and at the top how many attempts you have left (see screenshots). The idea is to guess the password, if you answered incorrectly, it will tell you how many letters that word has in common (and in the same position) with the password. If you answered correctly, it will display a message and output to the side defined in the program and then shutdown. Use the
arrow keys to move the cursor, and
enter to make your selection. Currently does not implement the little "dud removed" and "attempts reset" bonuses from finding < >, { }, or [ ]. The password is random each time as are the words used, all the words used come from a word file that you get to create (see example)! Enjoy, let me know if you use it on a fallout themed server, I've been looking around for one with CC.
Use the following command to download this program.
pastebin get JmHGRsww startup
--Don't forget to create a word file!
Here's an example of how the word file should look, I recommend every word be of the same size because you could run into an issue of seeing all letters matched and still being locked out. For example, the password is "rain" and you select "rainbow" you'll see 4/4 correct but it won't set output. You can use commas or spaces, or any combination to separate the words. It's up to preference.
