My response when using Windows 8 at BestBuy: "Yes, you there. Would you mind upgrading me to Windows 7?"

I like Windows 8. I don't like it for the apps, but I've noticed it's a bit faster than Windows 7. Not worth the money, but I upgraded from Windows 7 for $40.

That is because the removed the CPU, RAM and GPU hog that was 'Windows Aero' and replaced it with 'Windows Metro'

Windows 8 is like a shell to Windows 7…
All it really adds is "The Metro" and it's gay as hell.

Windows Metro is faster than Windows Aero, which is Windows 7. While I agree it's not a major upgrade, it's certainly not worse than Windows 7.

Windows Aero was a CPU, RAM and GPU hog, it wanted it all to run or it wouldn't run at all. So making Metro was good, means the computers run way better.

Or you can hit the windows button on the keyboard and r at the same time then type %appdata% it works for both operating systems. Though i see no reason to make a tutorial for a installer for computercraft like this but meh what can i say every contribution helps the forums so who am i to complain :P/>

Bad necro. That post was almost one and a half years ago, lets let the dead threads rest in peace.
Locking this.
