It's usually better to not flatter yourself.

Don't be a jerk.

That aside, it looks nice.

Are you trying to say its a "Dirty Operating System"? Or that it's like MS-DOS? o.O

I quite like the irony(If you don't know the definition, then please look it up. But I believe your post is a pretty good definition of it.) of your post. IIRC, you were defending your "OS" in the topic for your "OS" when somebody was making the exact same argument. This is just outright disrespectful.

Not sure what your definition of "DOS" is. But if you mean a Denial of Service Attack, then this is not one.

Looked it up and it is actually "Disk operating system, an operating system originally developed for IBM personal computers". It has nothing to do with text what-so-ever. It is just a operating system that happened to be very simple. That is like saying any operating system that has movable windows is the Windows operating system.

that menu could use some work, make the gray even and not follow text o.o

Well he actually meant MS-DOS, and was just referred to as DOS, and it was actually QDOS (Quick and Dirty Operating System) that was made by Seattle Computer Products which Microsoft bought in an attempt to match IBM's spec. Just saying :P/>

If you just search "DOS definition" Google it will give you that default definition. :P/>

If I were to search i would actually do "define:DOS" because I'm a Google power user and know all the awesome ways of getting relevant searches. But I actually did "define:MS-DOS" to get the name of who they bought it from, which I can never remember :P/>

Okay, I challenge you.
Write this whole OS withing 10 minits, on video.

Believe me, you wont make it. I know its not the best OS but he tries. Thats the whole point in getting better in programming.
If he doesnt post this, he doesnt know whats wrong with it is, cant look at his own mistakes and cant learn from it.

Conclusion: Getting people look at your code should make the author better. If the author doesnt want to get better then, well.. I dunno.

And for an first OS, its actually quite good. I mean, I have nobody seen using BIT's API before as first OS.
