Hello, and welcome to this EARLIEST release of Mar&Mar Olive, my project of a Graphical Operating Interface (GOI) for ComputerCraft. In this topic I'll be posting the new updates when they are done. Also, translation packs will be avalible very, very soon. Stay tuned!
To make new files, use the "N" key.
To make new folders, use the "M" key.
To erase one file, use the "B" (from the Spanish "borrar") key.
Download in Spanish:
pastebin get Wma2qgZN startup
Download in English:
TEMPORARILY UNAVAILABLE - To be fused with Spanish download
Changelog:
SpoilerAlpha 1.0.0
  • First public release
Alpha 1.0.1
  • Fixed little issues with the spanish character 'ñ', which I used in the file system. You should better remove the 'usuarios' folder.
Alpha 1.0.2
  • Limited the amount of icons in desktop to a strict 15, not allowing ghost filenames to appear strangely. Will make it flexible for monitor support.
  • Added functional clock to indicate in-game time.
  • Added a way to return to CraftOS from desktop (click the bottom-most right-most character, which corresponds to the clock.
  • Added a limited API which allows to make rectangles, textboxes and so forth.
Mar&Mar Olive 1.0 Liquid Gold
  • Functional desktop, featuring a brand-new Start menu that handles many of the needed operations.
  • A shiny file browser, Explora, which will make the delights of your sense of taste. Context menus are coming very, very soon.
  • A proper file recognition and icon association system, which will enable developers to create their icon combo to fit the file they want their program associated with.
  • Overall appearance of solidness and a general sense of Windows XP copy-pasted design fine attention to detail.
  • Exponentially increased the number of functions in the Olive API (gosh, I might actually have to make a documentation regarding that).
Screenies:
Spoiler

Known bugs which will be mended in the next release:
Spoiler
  • When closing Explora, you'll need to open and close the Start menu before the desktop shows up.
  • Explora does not like many files at once; you may not have more than 15 files in a folder.
  • Desktop screws up at any non-default resolution (regarding clicking positions).

Coming SO SO SOON:
Spoiler
  • Multiple language support (yes, that's English coming up!)
  • Polish Explora and Desktop.
  • Context Menu.
  • Control Panel.
  • System update prompt at startup.

I hope you like it, and see you soon!

Please leave a comment. It's free, and it makes me happy. Thanks!

Oh, and look out for the easter eggs!

Es la primera vez que puedo usar mi espanol fuera del instituto :D/>

I like it! Update it and maybe add different language which you can select in the menu!

Edit: In the setup, fs.remove() does not exist. You should use fs.delete()

Thanks! I hope you also like the Windows-like systems, because it will tend to that. ¡Y espero que puedas practicar español con esto! (Español de España, no de Sudamérica, por cierto).
And regarding the bug, I know about it, I mended it two minutes after posting the installer. You somehow managed to download it then! :-D

Hello, could an admin pleas move this to the Operating System section? I guess it might be classified as such :)/> Also, I definitely plan on updating this in the very near future, I was just working slowly and wanted to separate myself from the forums for a bit. Olive OS will return!

Moved to the OS section. Next time, report your topic rather than just posting a reply, as reports are much more visible to us.
