After looking though a lot of other peoples "Graphical Shell" aka "OS's" I was wondering if even half of them get permission from the people who make the programs that they use. And was wondering how many of you guys that have make a "Graphical Shell" (OS) actually get permission to use peoples programs in your "Graphical Shell"?

I haven't seen many that don't have permission. I am going to say 90-95% do have permission.

Don't some people just say in their posts "You can use this program in your OS if you really want to and give me credit."? Seems like that would save some time.

Some do, but I know a lot of the more popular ones don't (since I am making a Graphical Shell/OS myself, and I had to PM a lot of people for permission, since they didn't say that)

I don't think it's too much of a problem.
