[1.5.1] Excessive drops in framerate

Whenever there's an active computer in the area, I seem to have some framerate issues. I start at 30-40 FPS, then it drops to 10-20 FPS. It's not because of textures, because it even applies to turtles. Is there a reason for this?

Without any evidence it is CC then no. CC however will increase load on the client like any other mod.

If you are running a Vanilla game some people could get 60 FPS. If you install 20 mods you could go down to 30 FPS depending on the mods. That is basically what he means.
