Wireless speakers would be normal blocks that have rednet connection built-in. When right clicked, a GUI is shown where you can see the speaker's ID and select the ID of the computer to receive data from. When playing music from a disk, it will ask you the ID's of the speakers to send the music to. Once you have given the ID's, it will remember those speakers and not ask again. You could change the default ID's with some program. If a speaker is found as a peripheral, it will automatically use that speaker. Placing these speakers around your house or base will allow you to listen to music from everywhere you are.

Excellent idea! I rather like the idea of making an alarm system, or maybe just a way to play music throughout my entire house without needing multiple records!

You could make alarm system useing rednet, and note blocks so when they receive MSG == "ping" then rs.setOutput("side", true). Yer so it takes up another 2 blocks but the potential for a 'wireless' alarm is already there so no need for dan to spend ages working on a feture that saves 2 blocks.

But you cant trigger a music disk into a jukebox with CC, so the speakers would play music, not just some pings.

Or if custom sound are impeled (ex: Door sound playing or any other you have in you minecraft sound file) to play them in spekers.

If that is not the point of the sugestion tell me.
