Hope you're aware the 3 post limit's purpose IS to stop spam, and it's pretty obvious that the limit is to prevent spam. So unless they don't think it's their fault for spamming and getting banned.

Terms and conditions? Of course no ones gonna read those. I think you mean forum guidelines. If you ever go anywhere, IRL or online and don't read the rules first, then you can't complain when you're punished for breaking them. (I don't know if you were punished, I'm just saying you ought to read the rules.)

I tend to read the rules AFTER I break them… maybe if they made the rules list look funnier or something? idk, I guess its just one of those things people will always skip first.. like how most people never read the terms and conditions, I actually read a part of those once… they pit some pretty odd stuff in those.

If you join a community, you agree to follow the rules of the community. If you don't follow the rules of that community, you are removed from that community. We can't force people to read the rules (or even to obey them), so we simply cull the members that do not wish to be a part of the community, which they express by not playing by the rules.

Also, not sure what the motivation behind spamming to pass three posts would be. There usually isn't something that's so mind-blowingly important to say when one first joins a community that it can't wait a day or two.

Remember,If you make the terms and conditions a must-read before registering,Make it AS SHORT AS POSSIBLE.Nobody is gonna read them if they are boring

@270bba
Your writing style reminds me of a banned user… he never spaced after a , or a . either… But still, no one even reads the terms and conditions, so there is no point in adding one.

I have a little Question: Does Spacing Really Matters? If they do, Why don' t they intergate a space after commas and full stops?

Ya, Spacing is painful for me. Trying to space here.

Also, I am an chinese if that help, and chinese fonts comes with a space after , and . So… You Know. I just Do not have that habit

But whatever… Is it painful to read though

The main attitude of the moderators on this forum, is that if you failed to read our guidelines, which are quite easy to see, then you have essentially not agreed, and don't care about the rules. When you make idiotic or innane posts, that only confirms that you should not be allowed to continue posting within this community.

To be honest their are some many forums with so many variations on rules I tend to not quite remember the rules and just try to not be fool.

My philosophy on this is thus:
Don't act like an idiot and you won't get banned. Be polite, use the language of the forums to the best of your ability (even if you are not very good with English, making a concentrated effort to do your best will be noticed), and always search before you ask a question. If there's a pinned topic, READ it. If you see a post that says "Do not […]" or "Always […]", or any variation thereof, READ it. If you happen to make a mistake, do not whine and pretend that it is not your fault or that the pinned topics are not visible enough. Own up and, in general, all will be forgiven. Even if you are punished, apologizing will often minimize the extent to which the punishment is carried.

I have zero sympathy for those who end up getting banned because they are impolite or were too lazy to do a bit of looking around the forums. To be honest, the moderators here are pretty lenient when it comes to people making stupid topics - I don't remember ever seeing someone getting a permaban even for incredibly inane, pointless, or repetitive topics that have clearly been posted under the "do not suggest" category. I've participated in forums where people get banned for using English incorrectly. So anybody who's whining about the moderation policies on this forum needs to go back to etiquette school and grow the hell up.

So anybody who's whining about the moderation policies on this forum needs to go back to etiquette school and grow the hell up.

Most of the forum users are mostly around 15/16, at least that is my impression. The thing is, people are annoying OR they are nice. I dont know why, but.. this is kind of rude to say.. low educated people are almost always those little whiners. I can tell that from experience in my own life, but I wont get into that here.

So to get to the point: Some people should stay away from those forums. I would gladly receive them if they are asking politely and also like you mentioned, try to speak (type for a matter of fact :P/> ) proper English. Im not the best in English too, but I try right?

And also one thing one those forums what I like: it's highly moderated. Its not just like..ooh he has done that,.. okay.. No, people get warned or the topic get locked for example. Thanks moderators/admins! :D/>

grow the hell up.

Unfortunately, some people cant grow up properly. Just because they dont want to.. *cough* idi *cough ots*
