Created by the greatest minds ranging from Aperture Science to the Empire of Lenin, ApertureOS allows the average person to use ComputerCraft with ease! ApertureOS is:
  • Easy to Use!
  • Free to Use!
  • Almost Asbestos Free!
  • Turtle-Capable!
  • Self-Replicating!

AOS is now RedNet capable! Hold private chats with your friends, without a server plugin!

Aperture Operating System has been upgrade to make use of turtles! Now you can use the most practical of ComputerCraft's additions for mining and defense!

ApOS is now self-replicating! Create installation CDs with Disk Drive, under Specialties!

The Aperture Operating System is designed to make ComputerCraft usable for those who don't want to learn how to code. Included features are:
  • Text Editor
  • Paint
  • Games (Including NetWar, a game just for ApertureOS)
  • Music CD Player
  • Security System
  • Simple Installation
  • Self-Replicable
  • Combat and Mining Turtles Supported
Looking before you jump? Here are some screenshots!

Grab Aperture Operating System here! http://www.mediafire...ureOS_v.sqrt(16).zip

Unified Installation - Installs on every computer/turtle, automatically!
1. Navigate to your mods folder
2. Place the contents of the "Unified Installation" folder into the mods folder (Not the "Unified" folder itself, though)
3. Build a Computer!

Singularity Installation - Install it on a single computer, edit the core files yourself!
1. Build a Computer!
2. Create a File [type "edit marker', then save and exit]
3. Place the contents of the "Singularity Installation" into your computer's directory (usually "minecraft\saves\[world name]\computer\[computer's #]"
Both installations ought to be able to work for clients and multiplayer (if it didn't work in multiplayer, we wouldn't need a security system)

Suggestions? Questions? Bugs?
Report them, and I will personally consider/answer/exterminate them!

Nice, but a pastebin installer will get you more clicks.

I plan to do so at some point. However, the current version is . . . complicated. I intend to consolidate the files into one file soon, though

Good OS. For a basic version…

Thanks. I plan to add support for Rednet, Red Power and Turtles soon.

Aperture Operating System is now at version 4!

Notable upgrades include RedNet chat and a timed difficulty level for NetWar!

Also, I'm having a problem with Pastebin. I am THIS close to making ApertureOS available for download from there; however, the startup file doesn't seem to work. It will download the core AOS files and unpack them, but then, nothing. Let me know if you know what the problem is.

pastebin get ddrJiGV6 AOInstall
