Im just saying, it could be kind of logical you could click on a normal computer, as it is a computer..?
This is a read-only snapshot of the ComputerCraft forums,

Just a simple suggestion...

I was working on my black-white RPG game, whilest I wanted to implement clicking on things, sadly, I figured I needed a advanced computer for this…

No. This is not going to happen. We want Advanced Computers to offer something that normal computers don't.

I'm sorry, but I just don't understand these suggestions to make advanced computer functionality available to basic computers. Advanced computers exist already. If you want color or touch support, use one.

I just find it a little bit silly that I need to switch from a basic computer to a advanced one JUST for the touch support…

Nah. That would remove half the appeal of Advanced Computers.

We could make it have intergated wireless modem
Or you can attach an mouse Card to it

Then why you would use an advanced computer? Only for colours? No, that is definitely not going to happen because what Cloudy stated earlier..-snip-

Maybe he was trying to say to add those to the advanced computer to keep the appeal? Then why you would use an advanced computer? Only for colours? No, that is definitely not going to happen because what Cloudy stated earlier..

Probably of my bad english or you bad understanding of computer but i didnt understand what you mean under "logical if you could click".I was working on my black-white RPG game, whilest I wanted to implement clicking on things, sadly, I figured I needed a advanced computer for this…

Could you explain?Choose. You want a small ARM (or even worser, some rare arch) board that all you can connect to is a serial portI just find it a little bit silly that I need to switch from a basic computer to a advanced one JUST for the touch support…
Or you would like a normal PC you can do most of the stuff you need?
In my opinion, we should strip Standard PC to Basic PC. Or even worser. As you can currently use computers as if it was cobble. (well, alittle more expencive than cobble)
WHOS WITH ME to strip down basic pc to the level of arduino?
Why do you want to nerf all the things?

I believe that he wishes to try and make it more realistic, forgetting that this is a GAME, and that a lot of the stuff that has been suggested to make it more realistic have, for the most part, been rejected. Why do you want to nerf all the things?
