Hi, I play on a FTB Ultimate server, and I use computers a lot. I have noticed that, when the chunk unloads and I come back, sometimes a computer (or more than one) will not run the startup program, even if I open it. If the startup file was on a disk, sometimes it won't even recognize that there is a disk until I remove it and add the disk again. Strangely, it doesn't seem to happen on turtles at all, even running from disks. Could someone help me, or tell me if it's fixed in 1.5? Thanks!

if you put a startup file on the disk and on the computer does it then run the one on the computer?
have you tried putting the disk drives on top of the computer rather than next to it?
are you sure the disk drive is not in a separate chunk to the computer?

Sorry for the slow reply.

The disk drive is on top of the computer, so they're in the same chunk. When I put a startup file on the computer it runs that fine, it just doesn't seem to read disk data at all until I take out the disk and replace it. Even rebooting it doesn't seem to work.

Not sure then man. Try updating to the latest CC as it may already be fixed
