My suggestion is quite simple.. Adding desktops with drawers to the mod.
Since that would be a nice decorative block to have the computer on and
it would kinda also act as an chest since it has drawers so it would be a good place to keep floppy disks and modems etc.
And they would be two blocks wide and one block high..

And they could have a simple look like this or something

Or

Or whatever you come up with, Would just be happy if there was a nice desktop to place the computer/screen on :3

me too, what about that you are able to connect cables and modems through it while the computer is sitting on the drawer and that you don`t see the cables and modems while they are connected?

But this could have special computer support :P/>. For example, the cabinet could act as a disk drive for all of the floppy disks inside of it.

Nah. Third party mods handle furniture way better than we would.
