By this, I mean a block that acts mostly like a base turtle but looks like a computer.
Why? For aesthetics, mostly. There are times when I'd like to use a turtle's abilities, but want the pleasing look of an item that fills the entire block, rather than allow the empty areas that would show were I to use a turtle. It would basically be a computer with inventory, without the ability for any type of movement or tool use.
As to the API, it would of course be up to the developers, but I would like to see it possess all turtle functions not requiring movement, turning, tools, or fuel. In particular, the inventory functions would remain, as would the peripheral use, although only peripherals usable by a computer and only in the same way a computer would use them.
A recipe suggestion for this block–use the original computer recipe but with a turtle in the middle instead of a redstone dust.
I apologize if this has been suggested before. I tried a couple searches, but didn't see anything similar.
