Cables can be hidden with Immibis's Microblocks, I think. Not sure about modems. (There's quite a few things they can hide)

But Forge Multipart is a part of the Forge. It is a quite good reason to use it. Definitely worth to look.

It's not part of Forge.

Already planned to have some support, when I get my coding head on.

Excuse me if I was wrong, immibis.
Can you tell us about the difference between your Microblocks and Forge Multipart?
As I see Forge Multipart can compact a bunch of things in the same cube, but immibis's Microblock is requirement for RedLogic.
Can you point out more?

Forge multipart is an API not a mod itself and cb has included a "mod" that adds those microblocks

Correct me if I'm wrong but it appears that Immibis Microblocks has more sizes/shapes/etc. available than both RP2 and Forge MultiPart.

I hate to say this with immibis in the thread, but Forge Multipart is just better than his microblocks. Multipart does lighting rendering better, has more functionality in terms of fitting microblocks in a block, and adds lots of cool stuff like turning torches and levers into microblocks so you can fit them in the same block together on different faces. Plus, I much prefer the approach of having a well designed API that allows for much more flexibility on the mod's side to the approach of just hijacking any tile entity listed in a config file. And of course, there's the fact that microblocks aren't just about being able to put covers over the sides of blocks. Multipart allows for things to act as multiparts, not just be covered by them. Someone can make a mod that adds redstone wiring that clings to a wall, which will fit in the same block as an electric cable made by some other mod because they both work from the API.

Guize, this has been asked for too many times. Cloudy can only go so fast.
