Autofill Pressing Tab

I've browsed two page files on this part of the forum and I didn't see this suggestion. It would be very handy if you had the autofill like in Linux. You type in a certain part of a word and press tab and it autofills itself directly.

You mean like in the minecraft chat also?
I don't know.. This could be useful… But this would be highly possible todo yourself.

I too would really like this idea.

This has been implemented a few times and there are posts with code for it in the Programs section. This is better as an add-on that you install rather than as a part of the mod.
