When you are reporting a post, underneath the textarea where you enter the reason is:
This form is to be used ONLY for reporting objectionable content and is not to be used as a method of communicating with moderators for other reasons.
On this forum, we do use report to communicate with moderators for other reasons, so this should be fixed.

I think that's against the TOA for the forum software. Perhaps I'm wrong, but it seems like that's what has been said before to requests such as this.
