[1.2.3] OutlandCraft: Bukkit, CC, IC2, RP2 server

Hi folks,

I thought I'd go ahead and make my first post a shameless ad for my server OutlandCraft. We have the following mods:

- Bukkit (for MC 1.2.3)
- ComputerCraft
- RedPower2
- Industrial-Craft 2

This is a space-themed server where we have mining missions to a new planet each week. On the station there are strict rules to keep lag to a minimum. However, most anything goes when you travel through the interplanetary gate and explore for new riches to bring home.

Go ahead and log on to walk around and chat with players and see if we're the right server for you. There is a one-time $10 donation to lift restrictions. We find this is a very effective way to make sure our player base remains mature.

Sounds interesting, maybe I should use downgrade my minecraft and get the mods.
The idea of it being a space themed server with a station sounds very interesting.

Eva though infusing tekkit instead.
It has ic2
Bc
Rp2
Computercraft
Bukkit
And there's a client for it making upgrade easier

It has crossed my mind to switch over… however, we want to stay as close to MC release as possible. Having only 3 mods to wait for updates and ports *usually* lessens the pain. Also hand-crafting the server allows us to really know the nuts and bolts of the mods/plugins and quickly respond for troubleshooting.

But… I like tekkit and think it's an outstanding project. Perhaps my future endeavours will utilize it :)/>/>
