CC/RP Elevator

I was working on GPS functions for my turtles and decided to make a GPS tower using the new frames from RedPower. They were pretty handy, put up the entire tower(exception being the modems on the computers) without leaving the ground. This got me thinking about other possible uses and one was an elevator to access the computers on my tower in case I ever needed to go up and work on them.

Thats really cool! I personally just use the scaffolding from IC² since its pretty cheap. Have you tried making GPS towers that can move themselves to a set of coordinates?

I was just playing around in creative so not worried about cost, in my SMP game different story lol.

I haven't tried to make anything like that however if you had enough materials to accomplish it, the setup and coding would be fairly simple.

But I would strongly recommend using frames for moving things only as each frame block has an own tile entitiy…

change the deley to 0.8, it will go alot faster
