This is probably a bug with Thaumcraft 3, but since it involves computercraft, I thought I ought to post it here.
If you mine a turtle with the wand of excavation, you will lose the turtle. Since Azenor is already working on Thaumcraft 4, I doubt he will be doing any bug fixes, I will try to find the proper place to report that to him as well. I doubt this affects it, but it has the Frugal 3 potency 2 enchantments.
This is one the direwolf20 1_5_2 pack and this is probably no longer supported as there is a version out for 1.6.2 now, but in case it is a CC bug, it might still be there.
