As I popped onto the front page of the forums, I randomly looked down to see what users are online, and I saw this:

Google

It doesn't have a link, it just sits there…

Is this a bug?

nope, its a bot. Google, Facebook, MSN, Yahoo, and a few other bots almost permanently sit on these forums indexing them.

What are those bots doing here? When I went to see what they are doing they were checking random user profiles.

The bot "accounts" show what the search engine crawlers are crawling as they index the site so it can be searched.

Oh, now it does make sense! I thought they were just gathering information about people because they are always checking user profiles.

No, any page which exists on this forum. Eg. every post which is new since last visit of the bot, or new members

Basically it means that you can Google for any ComputerCraft Forums post and find it, almost instantly after posting it.
