Today on the forum I say the good old bot Google, but also an unlinked user (possibly a bot but I don't know) named Alexa.

('Alexa' is on that list.)
As far as I know, there is no search engine named Alexa. So, does anyone know if this is a bot (and what it's for), or an actual person, strangely unlinked for some reason?

EDIT: Realized it might be this: http://www.alexa.com ("Alexa - The Web Information Company")

Yes, bots don't have to be search engines. a bot can also be an indexing service, or even have a malicious intent.
