So, I was setting up my LAN network today in game, and had to move the networking cables around a good deal to make them fit without making the floor ugly. Currently, there is no way to hide the cables without a wall - so, my suggestion is quite simple.

Similar to how TE3 has done it, could wired modems and network cables receive added support for FMP covers and hollow covers? Regular coves would split cables apart if one is placed between two cables, or otherwise just act as a way to hide the cables. Hollow covers would allow connections between them, but still hide them partially.

I do not know how the networking cables and wired modems are coded and whether or not it would require a total rewrite, but it would be very helpful to me to make my base more compact without leaving exposed wires everywhere.
