[1.6.4][SMP][CC1.58] Turtle Does not attack.

Hello, first time I submit, seems this bug has returned.

while true do
turtle.attack()
sleep(1)
end

Or variations will not work, we have tried opping, tried creative non creative, place above below, tried preasure plates..

The damn thing simply will not attack.

Server admin is threatning to throw computer craft out, and this would destroy me..

Error exists only in SMP, in answer we have tried 'opping' CC and enabling PvP.

Still as above in SMP

Following, proding and poking and many swear words, it resolved to server admin not using correct /op command..

Read Up, we resolved it.

Issue with responding is my new member limit to responses.

The Turtles where designed to grind mobs. KISS.

The issue was with our server admin not. using correct /op command.

Is not a bug, and I would be happy if this post is removed, as it serves no productive help to anyone.

You might want to be careful who you tell to "cut the crap". You still haven't answered whether or not you're in peaceful mode. Also, what are you trying to have the turtle attack?

Difficulty level and PVP enabled/disabled are totally different. You haven't answered the question of what difficulty the server is set to. You also haven't answered what you were testing the turtles on to see if they were attacking or not. I'm trying to help you, but if you won't give me any of the information I've been asking for (aside from the one question you did answer about PVP mode), I can't help you.

Please read up, sorry for confusion, we resolved the issue, it was an admin using incorrect /op command for computer craft.

He wants to know what the difficulty was, likely to help other people. Do you know what it is? This seems really weird to me. Was it a PvP server, or did you need to be an op to have PvP abilities?
