CC lagging out

I just installed the new v1.58 version of CC but it keeps lagging my MC to the point where i have to force close it. I can run a small program but then I start getting lag spikes. These spikes get progressively worse until the game stops responding. I did a test where i watched the game without CC installed and it was using about 30 to 40% of my CPU, but when I have CC installed and the lag spikes start hitting the CPU goes all the way to 80+% and MC stops responding at that point.

I am using the latest forge.

The latest forge is for 1.7, so i doubt it….
Do you have any other mods installed?

Well I mean the latest forge for 1.6.4 and yes I do, is CC incompatible with something?

shouldnt be incompatible. Though list your mods & show a log.

If the log & mods dont do anything worrying, its probably your pc.
