I have 2 resource packs containing 1 script in each, that I'm testing.
CC 1.58 will not load the archive I made earlier today using AlZip,
but it will load one made with AlZip and CC 1.53

It will load the resource pack if i compress it with XP's built in compressor, but it doesn't add the pack.mcmeta or pack.png files , like 1.53 did

I have got the same problem. When I zip my resource pack using PHP's PECL zip extension, the scripts in it are not recognized by ComputerCraft, the textures I put in it are however recognized and are being used. When I unzip my resource pack and then rezip it using 7-Zip, my resource pack is recognized, even though I didn't change anything. I have heard there are several algorithms for creating ZIP-files, and this one is probably not recognized by ComputerCraft.

Edit: The resource pack is visible in the resource pack menu of Minecraft itself.
