Hi everyone i'm a noob at CoputerCraft and I LOVE it! I own a tekkit server and i am running ComputerCraft on it. However when i try to place a disk drive down, it turns into a modem! I don't know if it is my server or if it is my version of computer craft.

That's a bug in the bukkit version, I think there's already a post with the solution, just search for it.

Open YOURSERVERFOLDER/mods,
Unzip (if it's zipped) [2]ComputerCraft.zip,
Rename it to ComputerCraft (make sure it's a folder).

What the hell? Did you even READ the main thread?
The real fix is to replace your version of CC on the server with this one:
