XML tags removed when clicking Use full editor?

Yes, I wrote the usage of my program like this script <a|b> <string> [debug]. After editing a part in the "quick" editor and switching to edit the rest in the full one the <> tags disappeared.

It sure is possible that happened, because a regular member (like you and me) dont have html priviliges. And as you know, html also uses the > < brackets.
If it is in your code, I'd suggest you upload it to pastebin and copy the link you get after uploading and paste it over here. That way everyone can se your code without having any issues.

This occurs occasionally, it works now for me.

Edit: I think that you have to click on the use full editor button before the quick editor loads up
