Turtle's should only be dyed a color if shift clicking with the dye in hand. Normal access to the turtle should always be a normal click that does not depend on what's in hand.

Ditto. It only seems logical really, it will either result it a confused user wondering why their turtle is now red, or an annoyed use who now has to get another rose.

Or a forgetful Ape who wanted to grow some carrots but stopped to check a turtle, only to end up with a white turtle and one less bonemeal.
