I have an idea there you could use noteblock sound in CC by doing something like this: noteBlocks.playSound("2", "5")
People would be able to choose first which command block sounds to play(sounds when noteblock is placed on: sand, wood or stone) and then which sound to play(from one to… or by letters)
My idea just is about that you could play sounds even on pocket computers, just maybe combining your computer with noteblock(in crafting table) or do something like speakers(attached in computers with shift+click and in pocket computers with crafting tables)

Check out OpenPeripheral. It lets you control note blocks.

I know it, but if it would use single thing for three different(or maybe there are 4) noteblock types(placed on: sand, wood, stone) and it would be possible to play sounds in pocket computers

Then people will think we are trying to make it like OC, I'm pretty sure OC has sounds.

This has been suggested before quite a bit, and while I think it would be cool it hasn't been added.
Now, that doesn't mean it won't, but it's just not too likely.

Although not ComputerCraft, an OpenBlocks portable radio would be interesting…

One speculation was that there would be a pocket.beep and/or pocket.vibrate function. Nothing seen yet, but it may still be in the works… Somewhere…
