When you edit a post, it has text at the bottom, saying something like:
Edited by ZudoHackz, Today, 02:36 PM.
I know it is possible to add a description of why you edited the post, because I can do it on other IP.Board forums. However, I can't do it here. Why is this?

its a setting. they've simply turned it off, only staff can use it.

I asked this, and if you want to use it, you also have to allow users to edit discretely (ie no edit text at all) so they turned it off because that can cause issues. At least, that is what I understood.

That's exactly the issue, awsmazinggenius. If we wanted our users to be able to set a custom edit message, that means they would be allowed to edit without posting a edit message, which we do not want.
