So, I noticed that when editing or quoting a post that contains emoticons, while using the plain text editor or mobile editor instead of the rich editor, an HTML closing is added after each emoticon:
:)/>/>

They also seem to stack:
:)/>/>/>/>

I'm guessing it's a bug with the way IP.boards parses the posts, but I'm not sure.

Try using the plain editor and quoting this post:
:)/>

IKR, this needs to be fixed.

Dunno if it's something that we can fix, probably an IP.boards problem.

I have a feeling the only way to "fix" this would be to disable emoji altogether.

Which I hope happens. :P/>

We can only hope that it gets removed.
