Computercraft.cfg settings not applying

I have just updated to Computercraft 1.6.3 . I was so excited about the new features but now… not so much.
When i updated, I had to change turtlesneedfuel to false, But the changes are NOT applying. My turtles need fuel! has the method for turning off turtle fuel? Is this a bug? Please help me!

delete the config file and start the game again, it appears that when you update to the latest version the old config file doesnt work

Depends on which version you upgraded FROM. There used to be a turtle config file, separate from the computercraft config. Now those files are one. That may have been your issue.
