Now i understand that this idea may sound highly un-doable, but I've been thinking. If computercraft can, by default, decode the .ogg, .mp3, and .mus audio formats, would it be possible to implement the codecs into the game? As i understand it the audio system works by using Minecraft's built in decoder to play the files just like a normal jukebox, but wouldn't one have the ability to code into lua a codec to decode the files and play them form the dj program?
Any thoughts on the topic are accepted, though do try not to completely bomb on the idea, as i'm sure it is possible with some work.
If you are a bold programmer and can successfully make such a codec, please do, although if you don't believe you will be able to make, don't try it because i'm sure it will be a long task to finish. Thanks fro taking the time to read my post, best of luck to you all in your programs :)/>/>
