Hello and welcome to Razelon's V 1.0 Open Beta release. I would like to ask that everyone that uses the OS post any feedback and report any bugs if I missed them. On to the content!
What is Razelon?
Razelon is an OS that I, Zalerinian, am developing. I started to make this OS at the beginning of the extended weekend due to memorial day, and so now I post what I have finished with it so far. Although I have gone through a lot of bug fixing during the time i had to make this, I did make some last minute code, so errors are bound to exist.
What is included?
Razelon currently ships with the following program packaged together:
1. Multi-user login system
2. Control panel to add, edit, and delete users (more features coming soon)
3. Auto-update program
4. Disk Tools set (Bug fixes coming soon)
**Note: Inside the disk tools code are two sections of commented out code due to it not functioning properly at the time do this release. You are free to fix this if you wish, but please report to me how you did and I will look into the most effective way of having it patched for later releases.
How to install?
All you need to do to install Razelon is do the following
1. Get the file located here: pastebin.com/xUZuaSHd
2. Name the program 'update' THIS IS CRUCIAL to the installation process.
3. Run update and follow the onscreen instructions.

If you don't wish to read the User Manual on how to set up an account:
Login using the username and password 'admin', and then open the CP file in the directory 'OS'. From here you may add, edit, and delete users.
User Instruction Manual:
Thank you for installing Razelon. To login into your computer, you must first use the account admin with the password admin. now we want to add a user for you. Go to the OS folder by using cd OS. Next type in CP. this will open up the control panel. To add a new user, press 1 and then hit enter. Input the desired username and password for the new account. Once this I'd done, you may now login as this user.
Now go back into the control panel. Select option '2' to bring up the edit user menu. Select the change password option. Now select the user 'admin' and change this password. This will stop other users from logging into your computer with the default account.
Your computer will now be fully set up and ready for use. Remember to submit bug reports and leave feedback on what you do and don't like so far. My goal is to make an OS that can suit every one.
User Manual Extended:
This will guide you through the Disk Tools system. The first option in disk tools is to give your disk a name. This name will show up whenever you hover over the disk with your mouse. This is an excellent way to tell disks apart. The set disk name function of disk tools will tell you the current name of the disk (giving N/A if there is no name) and then ask for a new name. The program will then ask for confirmation on renaming the disk.
Next, the list disk contents function will list in an organized manner all the files and folders on a disk. This will clear off the screen after 5 seconds.
Then comes the music Disk function. This will check to see of the disk in the side of the computer contains a music disk. If it does, it will begin to play the disk as well as open up the disk controls. This will allow you to stop the disk and restart later after hitting enter, restart the track immediately, eject the disk from its drive, or quit the player.
Finally is the quit function. True to its name, the quit function will quit the disk tools program and return you to the default CraftOS 1.3 interface. This will change in the next update, as well as several other changes.
Things known currently that could cause an issue:
In the disk tools program, I have not made the program check as to whether or not a disk is in the drive. It also does not check If there is a disk drive there at all. Thus, inputting a side without a disk in it will cause the program to error.
If you find any other bugs or seemingly I intended effects, please report them here, or pm me on the forums, and I will look into the issue. I hope you enjoy the OS and that the user manuals were helpful. :)/>/> happy coding everyone.
Changelog:
V 1.1
- Should have patched a major security breach.
V 1.0
- Initial Open Beta
