This came up out of curiosity after reading CCGrimHaxor's Forum Questions topic. Basically, can you have a donate button on the topics for your programs?

That's a good question actually. Normally I'd say if your program's not behind some sort of pay wall or add link, it should be fine, but I'd like to hear what Dan has to say about it. It is his mod, after all.

I'm ok with it. They can't be mandatory though, that would violate Minecraft's TOS and devalue the forums as a useful resource.
