This project is dead. :(/>

If a forum moderator could lock this, that would be great.

There's another similar project being developed at the moment that I'm aware of. It'd be similar to see how they go.

Have you already started? The server side stuff would take a lot more than a week, speaking from personal experience.

Also, what are you doing in terms of security? You don't really want a repeat of what happened to NDF-Jay.

Is the cloud going to be for a single server or is it like in the net and you can access it from anyware?

GravityScore did a great job of explaining it here:

A lot of misinformation in that explanation. I don't know exactly what happened, but from what he is saying it sounds like a basic example of Remote Code Execution. Plus, MD5 is not an encryption algorithm, it is in fact a hashing algorithm (which means it's irreversible). The online "decrypters" are simply rainbow tables which store a buttload of strings and what their hashes are; this also applies to SHA1 (what he mentioned). The only way to try to avoid this is by salting all hashes.

Well, I must not have worded it correctly. Since this is for minecraft servers, it is for servers that really rely on CC. The admin of the server would place an array of CC computers as the "servers' and the data will be tossed around between them.

Right now, I am trying to get my indie game development career started, so I wont be able to work on this.. D:
