Ok so I have no idea if this was posted yet but I can't really check through search because as I said in the title the search is really buggy since the latest forum restart. Why are the forums going down constantly it used to be rare but now it is more and more. I did notice some changes around the forums and some changes in pocket edition but why does it keep going down when there is not bugs reported or changes made? And why so often?
The next thing is the search error. Now this isn't any normal search error saying that "error not found" or something like that all it does is displays everything on the forum no matter what you type and the 4 latter rule is ignored. Why? What I do is I type any keyword no matter the size and it always displays the same thing: The entire forum. If anyone else is experiancing this please tell me.
Ok now for the final thing. Why don't moderators and administrators delete forum posts that ask to be deleted? I mean I have seen a few that even say in the title [deleted]. Is there any way to request the post deletion(your own of corse) or can you do it yourself? If so how?
Now there is alot to read sorry about that but I am really new to the forums.
PS. What is a poll?
Thanks.

The entire site has been going down, not just the forums.
Search works fine here. There are issues with the advanced search that I haven't had any luck tracking down yet.
Posts that the author wants deleted can be reported. If the forum staff agrees, they will delete it, otherwise it will remain.
A poll is used to query opinions, but they are essentially useless unless they get a huge number of votes.

In general, unless there's a good reason to do so, the staff won't delete forum posts/topics. This is so that someone who might have a question about the topic may search for it in the future. For the most part, we will only lock a topic, but won't delete it. Feel free to report any topic of yours you wish to be locked, and you can also report other topics/posts that may not adhere to the forum guidelines.

to extend on Cranium's final point about reporting topics/posts that may not adhere to forum guidelines, there is one thing to remember; do not post that you've reported the topic, just report and leave.

Too bad. I prefer it when you can delete something you thought was stupid to say. ^^'

it's simple really; if you thought it was stupid to say in the first place, then don't say it.

Yeah, but I mean, sometimes you're not really sure and might want to delete it later…
Ehh, anyway… I'll stop talking about it as I don't want to change the subject.

If you say something stupid, you can always simply edit your post with an explanation that what you said was stupid.Sorry, I was being stupid. Carry on!
