How can you attack a web site with DOS? That operating system is very old to connect to the Internet.
They should call it a DOSe (Denial Of Service) or call the Disk Operating System DOSy.
It's really easy for a person who doesn't know what a DOS attack to mistake it with Microsoft DOS.
Well maybe not that easy.

Someone who doesn't know what a DOS attack should Google it, in which case Google would present them with a wikipedia page for Denial-of-service attack, meaning that no, I shouldn't have to define that I meant a Denial-of-service attack because clearly MS DOS did not attack the website; use your brain man.

Ashburn is a city in Virginia. The site giving you the 522 error is CloudFlare.

Sorry my brain was disconnected-ish at the time I posted that.

Its called a DOS attack.

Is this actually the cause of it? I'd gotten the impression the web server was outright crashing, but I've nothing to go on other than observation of the symptoms.

-snip-

At some point within the last couple of months I do remember reading on Dan's twitter feed something about getting DDOSed. I don't remember when exactly though.
