i have been thinking of this idea for quite some time. the idea is to have all the lua and CC terminal commands in a program, computer plugin(i don't know what they are called) or in the bilte in terminal(for mac i don't know what the windows equivalent is) and it would be nice for the iPad or pod. i don't know how the redstone or rednet would be implemented into it.

That would actually be possible ,only peripherals can't be simulated, because there are several Lua parser for many Programming languages.
I recently had been looking for something like this because I wanted to create a program that can work with lua code. With a parser you already can easily parse basic lua structures and you can simply create your own lua functions that execute code (no lua).
I maybe gonna try this once I have time again.

Someone else is also working on one - using the regular Lua interpreter - I'll ask him to post here if he has anything to show.
