I was thinking of developing a minimal desktop environment for ComputerCraft, I was wondering if people prefer a text based system such as CraftOS or a graphical type system such as OneOS.

why didn't you do it as the proper reference by just saying '¿por qué no los dos?'…? :P/>

I only like a graphical when you can actually do stuff on it. If you can't do everything you can do with CraftOs, then it's not useful.

Graphical, But with most of the functions of CraftOS

Graphical if it's functional (Like OneOS).

NDFJay copies suck.

As said above, graphical. But it depends on the functionality of it, If it doesn't have for example a file browser then what's the use of it? Every graphical OS should have a file browser, an editor etc. If it's missing one of those than I'd rather use old CraftOS :P/>

I don't really get the desire for graphical in CC. I do a lot of programming in the real world, and a third of my time is in a browser (probably a lot less than that honestly), a third is in the editor, and a third is in the terminal. You can really get a lot of utility out of a good text based shell, using well made packages. Unfortunately, CC doesn't really have a good shell or a package manager (hence a couple of my projects). So I'd really like to see some ground made on these forums towards having a better developer experience in CC (instead of just better user experiences).
