Quick question: Do lightning/storms interfere with wireless communications?

Title. I was testing out my wireless mining turtle and the "received interference" error I coded in got tripped, despite the fact that it's supposed to trip if the control terminal receives messages from a different turtle…and there's only one turtle in the world. My only possible clue is that there was lightning going around at the time, does that cause it to mess up? (have since fixed the issue to make the communication more stable, btw)

Well that's bizarre. The problem hasn't occurred again since, and I've left the bot running for a good few hours…

The only thing a thunderstorm causes is a reduction in range from 64 to 16.

really? the last time i was in a thunderstorm it killed my power line and prevented me from using modems entirely

oh and i changed the config file so in thunderstorms it changes the range to 1024 :awwyea:
