Could save a lot of space, y'know.

And how would you access the disk drive? Unless you're going to have him rehaul the UI to allow for it.

Maybe there could be a tab at the top which switches between the two different interfaces?

What I am thinking is this:
1. The Computer Screen (just like a normal normal/advanced computer)
2. A slot for a disk to be put in

Like on a corner?

Well the problems i'm seeing with this is that it will make normal disk drives obsolete and it would act similar to the
Custom rom and
Override chipset. Since more than likely if it's put in, the disks put into a computer turn it into a startup proof computer where the disk you put in is the first thing that starts up (which i'm not entirely against). However when you think about it, there's no use to do so, as it would allow for malicious disks to be inserted into your computer without having to place a disk drive next to it.

At the bottom.

But hey, this might be useful for… Nothing?

I definitely agree with Dragon53535, this could be problematic, as well as making disk drives completely obsolete. I don't think it's problematic requiring one extra block space if you wish to use disks.
