My idea for this topic arose when I was watching a documentary regarding the pirate bay, so I was wondering what other people thought about piracy and various other things alike such as torrenting.

Piracy is bad. Last thing I want is all my hard work on code to be released with no profit. Torrenting isn't such a big problem. Hiding your information against spies or threats isn't a big deal to anyone except the NSA(Yes, they watch foreign countries too).

This… is silly. People don't copy code. They copy ideas.

EDIT: Anyway this isn't a particularly good topic of discussion. Generally people will agree that pirating stuff is illegal and wrong, and torrenting != pirating.

Yeah I'm going to say no to this topic. I don't see it going anywhere.
