Maybe a keyboard so you can see your monitor and type at the same time

To put more detail into this suggestion, perhaps a wireless keyboard item. Left-clicking on a computer would link the item to the computer (perhaps to avoid abuse, an editable range could be added which unlinks the items after a certain point), and right-clicking would send keyboard control to the computer itself. Right-clicking a second time would restore keyboard control to the player.
This could always be added as a user-built peripheral, of course.

Look at the CCInput peripheral. (But I too think this should be a part of the main mod)
